Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"As with 95% of all Chinese restaurants hidden down alleyways, the food was exquisite, recommend the chicken cashew and spring rolls, so fresh! Definitely worth the effort to eat here."
"The place itself it's a little odd doesn't look like a typical Chinese restaurant but hey there were many Chinese inside eating and they all seemed happy about the food, so who I'm I to judge? We ordered different dishes but I can assure you the one in the foto, the "spaghetti saltati" and the "involtini primavera", were amazing . The variety of the menu almost left me without breath, and they all looked delicious but some of the plate were a little pricey at least compared to the Chinese restaurant I usually go."
"Their siao long Bao tastes superb like din tai fungs!!!! Must try! We bother absolutely loved it !"
"Best Sichuan food I ate in Bologna with superb customer service. Way better, more authentic and more delicious than the other Sichuan restaurant with the highest number of reviews in Google. Their Vietnamese spring rolls are also authentic and affordable with minced meat and various herbs and not just stuffed with vegetables like other restaurants do. They gave free biscuits too! I will come and eat here for sure if I ever visit Bologna again next time."
"This place doesn’t deserve a 3.7 rating. We had the soup dumplings and siu mai, and both were really good. The dumplings were well seasoned and juicy. The siu mai was different from the Cantonese style I’m used to, but it tasted homemade and flavorful. People complain about the service, but our waitress was kind and attentive. I honestly don’t find Italian service any better, so the criticism feels overblown. I’d come back."
"The best chinese restaurant in Italy. Thank you very much"
"Me and my colleague found this place by accident. I'm a huge China fan, so I love authentic Chinese food. I always order 麻婆豆腐 to compare authenticy and I can assure this lil place is great. All the dishes we ordered were freshly made, super hot and especially tasty. Surrounded by mostly Chinese ppl (which is an indicator for good Chinese food) it made it even more authentic. If I wasn't were for only a business trip, you'd probably find me here every single evening. They don't speak English or very limited (only Italian and Chinese), but the menu has pictures so it's easy to order and know in advance what to expect. Would certainly recommend!!!"
"Authentic Chinese food, masterfully prepared. This unassuming place offers genuine Chinese cuisine at very reasonable prices. The menu is full of items that will be new to all but the most knowledgeable diner. What you will not find here are the kind of dishes served to Americans in shopping mall food courts. Some of the items might be a little intimidating to the uninitiated. I am eagerly anticipating many return visits to explore them. The rice dumpling dish was a symphony of fresh flavors and wonderful spices. The tree ear mushroom salad delighted me with its taste and texture. The Mapo Tofu photograph I posted was taken after we ate half of it. The fragrance was so enticing we didn't think about taking pictures until later. Every dish has a perfect balance of flavors-- spicy, but not too much, with all of the elements proportioned to bring out the flavor of the main ingredients."
